This three-panel Japanese noren is woven from narrow ~29 cm strips of handwoven ramie linen, then dyed entirely by hand. Deep indigo (ai) and lighter hanada blue meet a soft natural ecru, and a gently blooming hydrangea (ajisai) motif sits at the centre — quietly elegant rather than loud. The result is a calm, cooling presence that suits an entryway, a room divider between two spaces, or a shop doorway.
